I am a dedicated and experienced counsellor specialising in Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Integrative approaches. My diverse skill set allows me to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering self-awareness, emotional resilience, and personal growth.
As a supervisor, I support fellow counsellors in their professional development, offering guidance and reflective spaces to enhance their practice and maintain ethical standards. My supervision style emphasises collaboration, encouragement, and maintaining a focus on client welfare.
In addition, I am a certified Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) practitioner, using this innovative modality to help clients resolve trauma, address limiting beliefs, and achieve lasting emotional change.

Through my work, I remain committed to empowering individuals, promoting well-being, and contributing to the growth of the counselling profession.

Wendy Lewis
Practice Manager, Student Co-ordinator
Hello, I’m Wendy, the practice manager here at Linking Pathways. I look after the smooth running of the practice, from supporting our students and counselling clients to keeping track of the finances that keep everything flowing.
As well as my role here, I’m a SEN mum of three wonderful children and James’ wife. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of resilience, compassion, and the importance of creating a supportive community — values that I bring into my work every day.
Whether you’re a client, a student, or part of our wider network, I’m here to help make your journey with Linking Pathways as welcoming and stress-free as possible.

Lindsey Jackson
Clinical Hypnotherapist, Integrative Adult and Child Counsellor, IEMT Practitioner, Somatic Trauma Informed Therapist.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and Hypnotherapist, and a registered member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I have completed advanced training as a Somatic Trauma-Informed Counsellor with the International School of Healing and Hypnotherapy (ISOHH), specialising in supporting individuals experiencing trauma, chronic stress, and high levels of anxiety.
Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, constantly on edge, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they cannot seem to shift. Trauma and anxiety can impact the nervous system in profound ways, often leaving people feeling disconnected from themselves or trapped in fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown responses. My approach recognises that these reactions are not weaknesses — they are protective responses shaped by past experiences.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic understanding and informed by neuroscience and somatic practice. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts, we gently explore how trauma and anxiety are held in the body and nervous system. Through psychoeducation, clients gain clarity about how their brain and body respond to stress, which often brings immediate relief and a renewed sense of control.
As a mother of three — including a child with Special Educational Needs — I also understand firsthand how prolonged stress can affect emotional wellbeing. This lived experience, alongside my professional background working with children in care settings and training with Place2Be as a school-based counsellor, has deepened my understanding of attachment, safety, and emotional regulation.
I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to rebuild a sense of internal safety. Together, we work at a pace that feels manageable, supporting you to regulate your nervous system, process past experiences safely, and develop healthier, more peaceful ways of being.
Healing from trauma and high anxiety is possible. With the right support, lasting change can happen.
